Things are about to get a whole lot poorer, here at the Choosy Beggars, now that I’ve been given free reign to throw myself into a psychotic frenzy of over zealous wedding planning. I’ve already started my spreadsheets (tedious but rewarding), budgets (depressing as hell) and Gant diagrams (everything looks better in color). As we plan, once again, to deliberately send ourselves spiraling head first into immeasurable debt, you can look forward to the next year of recipes being centered around rice and beans or ketchup soup.

I would like to note that the “free rein” to explode into furious wedding planning was purely inferred on Tina’s part, but that I am helpless to resist.
Also: Getting engaged to the person you love has a hilarious side effect of causing both of you to burst out into giddy laughter whenever you make eye contact.
OH MY GOD TINA!!!!!!!!!!! That’s AWESOME, and your ring is gorgeous, and I was so worried we were going to have to start bullying him into getting a ring already, but it looks like he did it of his own volition! I’m so happy for you, and thrilled that you get to experience the joy of committing your life to another person who loves you, as well as registering for hordes of awesome kitchen stuff.

I’m so happy for you! Wedding planning is so much fun. I told my DH (Dear/Damn Husband depending on your mood) that I wanted to renew our vows every year so that I could plan another wedding every year.
Perhaps it would be better just to become a wedding planner… oh well.
